Darksiders II has been delayed until August 2012, publishing giant THQ has announced.
The sequel, developed by Vigil Games, was originally pencilled in for release in the U.S. on June 29, with a European launch scheduled for June 29.
However, THQ confirmed today that the actioner has been postponed until August in order to improve the quality of the product.
“The date was shifted to ensure we meet the high quality threshold that we are committed to achieving,” said the firm. “It has nothing to do with any other platform releases.”
THQ is expected to announce a firm release date for the game in “days to come.”
Stay tuned.

Delays are not always bad, it's better than getting a game full of problems/issues on day one.

Exactly. And if only there was some way of knowing if Darksiders II had a few issues or not...hmmm
...Ahem ahem...
Sorry, just had to clear my throat...via text. Anyway, yeah, this is good news.
