Robert Bowling, former creative strategist at Infinity Ward, has confirmed that his new studio Robotoki is working on a new project for next-generation formats, PC and mobile.

Bowling revealed to Game Informer that the unnamed title will be revealed at some point this year.

"However, how they experience the world is unique to their device. The mobile / tablet experience should not mimic the console or PC experience, it should be additive to it, not supplemental," he said.

"Allowing them to support their console and PC experience, continue their progression, but by experiencing the world in a meaningful and unique way."

Bowling went on to describe his studio’s creation process, saying it is important to first craft a compelling universe before building anything else.

"As a developer, our focus is on creating a universe first, experiences second, and game mechanics last," said Bowling.

"We are focused on our team first and everything else second," he continued, adding: "we have a lot to learn on how to treat talent".
