BBC Sports app coming to PS3 this summer

Sony has announced via the EU PlayStation Blog that the company has teamed up with the BBC to bring The BBC Sports app to PlayStation 3 this summer.
The app will nestle neatly on your XMB and drip-feed you the latest key sporting highlights for the summer and beyond. Sony’s trumpeting that 2,500 hours of content will be delivered throughout the London 2012 Olympics alone in crisp high-definition.
A firm release date has yet to be set, but the app will arrive before Wimbledon kicks off in June 2012 and will be completely free.
