Lost Planet spin-off coming to PS3, 3DS

Capcom is working on a new title for PlayStation 3 and 3DS set in the Lost Planet universe, the latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed (via Andriasang).
EX Troopers is being produced by Monster Hunter dev Shintaro Kojima, and features an anime visual style and has been described as a sci-fi Justice Gakuen.
The shooter’s narrative is school-themed, and features a Gravity Rush-inspired ‘manga demo’ event system in between stages.
Not much else is known at this point, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
The next instalment in the Lost Planet franchise is currently in development for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 at Spark Unlimited. It’ll release in 2013.
