Sony today revealed the final box art for Sackboy’s next handheld adventure, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.
Soon to send out closed beta invites for LBP Vita, Tarsier Studios is working extra hard to ensure that the social and networking features of the game are on par with LBP2 – if not better. You’ll also be able to download all of your LBP PS3 costumes to LBP Vita, should you own both.
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is currently slated for release on June 26.

Transferring our dlc and story costumes from LBP2, that's a given, but what about our custom costumes we've made?

Garrrrgh, I'm really hoping they change the name, I hate it when they give spin-offs such an unoriginal title simply by adding 'Vita', 'DS', or '3D' on the end, etc. Look at the Vita games Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Resistance: Burning Skies - they haven't simply called them Uncharted Vita or Resistance Vita, they get interesting subtitles! I dunno if anyone actually agrees with me, but I'm fed up with developers doing this. Picking a decent name should be the least difficult part! Call it something imaginative!
Also, why so many LittleBigPlanet entries? They already improved on LBP 1 with the sequel, the idea being that these games have virtually limitless replayability, yet there are 4 different LBP games? The Resistance and Uncharted titles a fully-fledge stories, whereas LBP's main premise is that you create levels for others to play. I hardly see how a portable version can improve that much over its console counterpart, and if it can, I'd rather they just made LBP 3 on PS3 than a Vita version. Again, people may disagree, but I hate how some of my favourite franchises are starting to be milked.
