Mass Effect 3 is getting new DLC next week, and with it comes gear, weapons, maps, kits, and new characters. The Mass Effect 3 Rebellion DLC Pack is free, that is, if you redeemed an online pass for the hit game from Bioware. PlayStation 3 owners can pick up the Rebellion DLC Pack on Tuesday, May 29 in North America and Wednesday, May 30 in Europe via the PlayStation Network. The content is also available for PC and Xbox 360.
The multiplayer expansion offers two new fronts against the Reapers—Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. Reinforcement packs include three new weapons—Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, and Cerberus Harrier—in addition to equipment, consumables, and six new characters. New characters include Quarian engineer and infiltrator, Vorcha soldier and sentinel, and ex-Cerberus adept and vanguard. Each character has unique abilities and loadouts.
A new mission occurs randomly during wavers 3, 6, and 10, and demands that teams retrieve a high priority package and securely escort it to a designated extraction zone on each map. You’ll also get a new gear slot on the equipment screen.

I guess many will like this. I personally would have rather had Sp content. So far all the DLC has been multiplayer, which to me should be a secondary objective to ME's single player content. I tend to think of the mass effect series to be a RPG which is in-depth and has tons of story, not just another call of duty game.... Meh...

Agreed. I think I'd much rather play more Single Player missions that more MP.
