Capcom has released a chilly batch of new Lost Planet 3 screenshots for your consumption.

Developed by Spark Unlimited, Lost Planet 3 is a prequel to the original game and takes place on the familiar setting of E.D.N III. This time around however, gamers will experience a more narrative-driven campaign and take part in a variety of open-world-style distractions, such as side missions and chatting with NPCs.
Lost Planet 3 is scheduled to ship in 2013 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
