Doom 3 BFG Edition dated, priced

Bethesda’s staple-gunned a European release date of October 19, 2012 to the upcoming Doom 3 BFG Edition.
The game will arrive in North America a few days earlier on October 16.
For those out of the loop, the Doom 3 BFG Edition takes the original PC horror classic and polishes it up with high-definition visuals, 3D support and 5.1 surround sound. You’ll also get two extra content packs in Resurrection and The Lost Mission, plus Achievements and Trophies for 360 and PS3, respectively.
Developer id Software has tinkered with the controls too, and added a new check point system plus improved lighting and rendering. Finally, the pack also features the original Doom and its sequel.
Doom 3 BFG Edition will retail for £29.99/€39.99.
