God of War: Ascension not coming to PS Vita

Sony has poured cold water on any hopes of seeing God of War: Ascension on PlayStation Vita.
Speaking in a Q&A with fans on Twitter this week, developer Sony Santa Monica replied to a user question as to whether or not we’d see cross-play for Ascension for PS3 and PS Vita.
“We are not creating God of War: Ascension for Vita,” the firm said.
Of course, this doesn’t rule out the possibility of Kratos making his way onto Sony’s new handheld at some point; just don’t expect to be playing Ascension on the device.
Squeezing info out of the studio proved difficult to say the least, with Santa Monica keeping mum on the subject of a multiplayer beta for Kratos’ latest bloodbath.
“Cannot engage this question currently,” the company replied.
God of War: Ascension is scheduled to ship exclusively for PS3 in March 2013.

That sucks.. What's the point of having PS Vita if we can't do cross play as they said it could? Cross play and remote play are important key factors for the PS Vita, but its lacking and it has not been usuable. It probably won't be usuable until PS Vita 2 a.k.a PSP3 comes outs. Sony is lacking in software capabilities despite its amazing technology with the hardware and all. Its very lacking to me and thats why I haven't own one yet. I was gonna own one on launch day but I've been having doubts about it.

@! - What's the point having a Vita if we can't do cross-platform play? Are you really that stupid? The point of a Vita is to play Vita games. What's the point in owning a Vita if all we get is PS3 ports? They're giving us Battle Royale, but not every PS3 game is going to make a Vita appearance. I agree, it is currently a little lacking in software, but if you think it's not worth owning one just because not every PS3 title is going to be ported onto it, then please, never get one.
