Insomniac Games has been rather coy on when North American games will finally get their hands on the Ratchet & Clank Collection. Amazon has it listed for October 2, but more interesting is the game's price.

With a 25% discount, the Ratchet & Clank Collection can be pre-ordered from Amazon for only $29.99. Effectively, you're getting three PS2 platforming gems with splendid high-def visuals, Trophy support, and stereoscopic 3D for 10 bucks a pop.

I could wax nostalgic about how amazing the Ratchet & Clank franchise is (particularly the first three installments), but if you're a PlayStation fan, you already know this. Grab hold of this deal while it lasts and prepare for some bombastic ass-kicking sometime this fall.
