I got Knights in the Nightmare. So far I regret it, I'll stick with the game though. Hopefully it'll stop sucking once I have a firmer grasp of the gameplay, it's just so weird and alien it's hard for me to enjoy at this point.
Wanted Crimson Gem Saga or Hexyz Force, saw quite a few online reviews and decided they're not for me. I was just hoping to get Valkyria Chronicles 2 on the Vita's PSN so I could download it to my system without having to purchase a PS3(heh), waited anxiously for the PSN update annnnd got an Atlus sale.
Oh well, at least I can console myself with the knowledge that Valkyria Chronicles 2 is one of those games that desperately wants to be an anime(freaking fanservice and anime tropes, grr). I just wanted it to be my Playstation answer to Advance Wars, guess I'm gonna have to wait even longer for a proper action-strategy game for my Vita. I just wish they had localized Valkyria Chronicles 3 instead of VC2, it looks like it's waaay more suited to the Western market than VC2. I just wish they realized that doing away with mindless fanservice and other stupid things like that would give gamers over here more of a reason to NOT actively ignore their games- it's also why anime isn't anywhere near as popular over here as it was a decade ago. Cultural devolution in terms of entertainment output, yes?
