PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release date announced

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be released in North America on October 24 and in the U.K. on October 26, Sony has announced.
The game will be released for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, though prices have yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere, the platform holder also revealed that those of you who pre-order the brawler will be able to unlock in-game character costumes. Details are being kept under wraps at present, though the PS Blog notes that more info – including a list of participating retailers – will be announced soon.
As previously reported on PSU.com, two new characters for Battle Royale are to be unveiled at 6.00 p.m. PST today during Sony Computer Entertainment America’s (SCEA) Exhibition Presentation at EVO in Las Vegas.
