In case you haven’t heard yet, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is finally slated to receive a long-awaited patch that will add PlayStation 3 Trophy support to the game.
Here’s what we want to know: will this make you play the game again?
Fans have been asking for Konami to do this for years, but now that it’s finally in the pipeline, will those same fans revisit the now 4-year old title, later this year?
We’ve asked our community, and we want you to chime in the poll with one simple click. Will you replay MGS4?

I hate TROPHIES, they make my gaming harder and less fun, i hate chalngs,i just want to cheat my way throw and have fun, so you can shoove the trophies up were the sun dont shine :/ I f they add real cheats to all PS3 games i sware i will buy even the worst games and play them, just like i used too in good old PS1 & PS2 days. I HATE TROPHIES AND ONLINE CRAP. why they keep forcing us playing the games the way they want us????
I have been sending Emails to SONY and allot of publeshers around the world about cheats.
If you agree you can also send Eamial to SONY, or you can share the idea here.

Dear Sony,
I am writing to you from my frustration on gaming these days, I find it very unfair from SONY and the developers to stop us from cheating on single player games. I am 34 years old, and I am busy working, and I don’t have that much time to play games like I used too. But I still have the spirit of gaming, so I will NEVER STOP PLAYING, unfortunately that may have to change because of the new gaming rules, I think Sony forgot who made the PS brand what it is today, I have been Play station Fan from day one back in 1996 all the way to PS3, but I started to lose my believe in gaming toward the PS because of rules that stop us from cheating. Let me ask you, what harm will it do to SONY and Play station 3 and anybody out there, if I cheated on Reactance and Kill Zone and many other PS3 game out there? Will be the End? You see, what Sony does not understand is that not everyone is a fan of online gaming, and trophies. So why the restrictions on cheating, back in PS1 day’s I used to buy almost any game I didn’t care what the reviews and rating ware, I just went to shop and payed for it, then played it with cheats and beat it, and then i would buy another game and so on, I had 63 PS1 Games and 79 PS2 games, all thanks to cheats, and now on PS3 i only have 16 PS3 games, so as you can see is not good, don’t you want us to buy and play games like we used too, and NEVER STOP PLAYING?? I don’t give a crap about Online and Trophy, all I want is to play games the fun way the cheat way am not doing any harm to any buddy by doing that I only cheat on single player mods , i don’t play online, or care about lame fake trophies. If Sony doesn’t want us to hack PS3 then they must allow cheating on offline mod or single player games, how fun it would be to play Kill zone2 and 3, and Resistance and many other games with infinite ammo and health, but it looks like, it won’t happen, any day soon, why Sony? Why are you pushing us away from what we loved and enjoyed?
I really hope that changes one day
Also I hope Jack Tretton reads this Email
Thanks for your support.

@10
Says: "I don’t have that much time to play games like I used too"
Then says: "back in PS1 day’s I used to buy almost any game" and "then played it with cheats and beat it"
So basically you are mad at Sony for not letting you cheat because you don't have time to play games like you used to even though you just admitted when you had the time you still used to cheat anyway?
If they didn't just take your letter and line their birdcage with it, I certainly don't want to know what else they could've possibly used it for.
Oh God, I wonder if that would even flush...
They should've done trophy support at the end of last year when the mgs collection released. That way the people who played over the other MGSes would have more of an incentive to replay mgs4. The timing would've been more appropriate. -

The Vita is my first trophy-enabled game system, and I've actually found that trophies improve the experience quite a bit. They gave me a reason to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus with all the weapons I previously ignored, opening up the game like never before. They get me to experience every aspect of games I'd normally just skim over, like MotorStorm RC and Modnation Racers. With every Vita game I own so far the experience was improved a little with trophies, I certainly feel that MGS4 could be improved with trophies if they were creative or helped you see the game in a different light. Trophies certainly improved MGS2 and MGS3 for me on the Vita, giving me a more "solid" reason to hold up enemies or to search out its various secrets(like the ghost in the tanker, had no idea it was there before I saw its trophy). Trophies are also a good way to show off after doing a 100% run through certain games. Instead of having to openly brag to get people to know that you've beaten Ninja Gaiden on its hardest difficulty they can just check your trophy profile and see your trophies proving your achievements in games. That's priceless.
