The tower-offense game, Anomaly Warzone Earth, is coming to the PlayStation 3 via PSN later this summer, and with it comes good old fashioned local co-op. There is no exact release date at this time, but expect an announcement shortly.

The game allows two players to combine forces and lead squads into battle against aliens—check out the video below for more details. One commander can control the squad and the other can come up with a strategy, and both can deploy abilities and booth one another.

If you are heading to Gamescom, you can check the game out at 11 Bit Studios’ booth, which will also have three new, as-yet announced games.
