Final Fantasy Versus XIII still in production

Square Enix has moved to quash Internet reports that development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been cancelled.
Last week, Kotaku reported that the PlayStation 3-exclusive RPG had been quietly shelved, despite the fact the game had only entered full production as of September 2011.
However, writing on Twitter, Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada said that the reports were a hoax, and that he had even attended a progress meeting on the game just today.
Wada-san added that fans will be surprised to see how the title is coming along, giving mention to the city setting found within the game.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII was originally announce at E3 2006, with the last footage of the game surfacing back in 2010. The game forms part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, which includes FFXIII and FF Type-0.

Maybe this whole debacle will be a lesson to them - fans notice when you don't release a game (or any concrete information) for years. Get this game done, so I can move on.

I still hate Square Enix for all the letdowns and lies of the past. All games after FF12 are garbage.
If FF15 is not like Skyrim (which is the benchmark now) they are doomed.
Square Enix take a look back at what made this series so good and don't go making trash like FF13 ever again, please, that F****** game was so so bad (made my eyes bleed that F******).
Oh and as for F*** FF13 Versus waiting 6 years for a game probablly as crap as FF13, no thanks. File it under B for Bin and get on with making FF15 a real special game, hopefully redeming some credibility for Sqaure Enix as they are looked upon as a right bunch of C**** ATM.

i hope to whatever god you believe in 3 that it is not like skyrim. and why would we be surprised to see how far its come after all these years of production? do these people hear themselves talk?

The longer the wait doesnt mean I'm gonna want it even more it just means after all this time I will just forget about it kinda like FF12 ...took ages to be released in english to the point I just couldnt be bothered wasting my time...
Ya know what Square FF7 remake,ff8 remake ,ff9 remake ....Would still be better than any the rubbish youve recently released....oww how the mighty have fallen..
