grab it and add me xXLive_RoundsXx ! and to Sony here is how to restart your franhcise. give us the socom 4 graphics....... give us every map ever created in the franchise ..... every game mode breach , demo, escort etc etc.....grenade arc..........no pe4......... make camera view same as socom 2 with socom 4 graphics.....do not alert the enemy when u plant the bomb remember its a tactical game!!!!!.....give us alll weapons in whole franchise. give us the option of changing uniforms colors and skins......lobbys with chat for the trash talk b4 rounds u gotta luv it.......ability to make our own rooms like socom 2......and remember maps and game modes are very important as is the camera view thx you and keep up the excellent work moving foward and bringin back the game that revolutionized online shooters games..... i

if it Didn't have the SOCOM name SOCOM 4 would actually be a Solid TPS ,( I was actually playing it before doing my Elite Playthrough for the Plat Trophy (Damn getting back to the Chopper on Mission 8 is really Hard!!!!

Take it back to the original framework or it is done, simple as that IMO.

And even though its taken back to the original frame work  (3PS and FPS, free-action lean/peek, user created rooms, non-ranked respawn, briefing room+chat and all the old maps), it seriously needs improvement. It needs to evolve in the right way this time, not devolve into a generic 3ps action game. Give it more of a slant on realistic mechanics.

Looks like from this statement the next SOCOM could finally be based off the old school SOCOMs. (disregard confrontation)

SOCOM 2 style. All SOCOM 1 and 2 maps, and the best from S3-S4 (citadel, etc)

Map voting, Green up button, Lobby system with chat. Bring back S4s clan match system, they did a good job with that.

Can't wait to hear more news. By far my favorite game ever, would take a new SOCOM game over COD, Ghost recon or battlefield any day of the week!!

Bring back socom 2's character movement! Crosshair bounce, jump to climb, lean, grenade arch.... Just give a REAL sequel to socom 2!

 This news made my day! It's the best news I've heard in a long time :) I agree with what everyone's saying, Socom 2 gameplay and all previous classic maps with Socom 4 graphics would be gaming heaven. Despite its flaws Socom 4 is still the best shooter out,  it's not as good as the PS2 Socom games were, but still better than the rest of the shooters this gen.

Omg this is a dream come true i have started on socom2 whenbit first came out i want that same feeling back when i use to stay on the game for 10 damn hours a day lmao when i was younger and still middle school....... bring it back and ill pre order that sob as soon as it has a release date.....

Stop the responding that killed this game, for me and my whole clan. take it back to Socom 1 - Combined Assault. All the titles after that SUCK and lost a lot of your fans for you as well. I would pay $60 bucks even $100 just to be able to play any of the first 3 Socom games. on My ps3 unaltered with that stupid over the solder view it sucks or at least give us an option to change it. Or even Better you could take all the maps form the First 3 games put all the maps on the disc I know they will fit on a blue ray and release it on ps3 as on game with the Socom 2 style view and what not.

I could not have said it better than bromagen25. I have bought all the new fps games and none provide even close to the entertainment of Socom 3(the game I was introduced to Socom).

CA was the first coffin nail! S1 & S2 were the best in the franchise. Start from there with improved graphics, and both 3rd person and a TRUE 1st person view. Then do everything Triple Brand said! That'll be money in the bank.

Been a Socom fan since Week 1 of the original Socom: US Navy Seals. I have been waiting for a game to compare to Socom 1 and 2 and nothing comes even close. Let's go Zipper or whoever...it's about time for a new Socom with all of the old attributes we loved from previous installments.
