Media Molecule has announced that do-it-yourself platform franchise LittleBigPlanet has accumulated over seven million user-generated levels since its inception in 2008.
The figure includes content crafted for the original game, LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet on PlayStation Portable. The series is soon set to make its debut on PlayStation Vita in September 2012.
Despite the fact the franchise is nearly four years old, fans are still churning out fresh creations on a rapid basis, with 37,641 stages published last week alone. In other words, that’s about 5377 new levels every day.
To celebrate the milestone, Media Molecule has cobbled together a lavish infographic illustrating the series’ achievements throughout the years. Check it out below.

Now if only we could do something to filter out the levels named "unnamed level", bomb survivals, Press X button mashers, shark survivals, and emo sticker/costume levels.

That infographic was so much fun to pore over. Bravo, Media Molecule. Bravo on an incredible idea that turned into a legendary series.
