PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale supports 'popular arcade stick peripherals'
SuperBot Entertainment has confirmed that a variety of arcade sticks will be compatible with its upcoming brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
The news comes directly from the developer’s Facebook page, where it confirms that “fans of the fighting game genre can use their favorite arcade-style controller to play Battle Royale to full effect. Every attack, combo, and strategy that can be performed on the DualShock 3 controller is seamlessly mapped to arcade button layouts.”

There will be one amendment to the way the controls will be inputted to arcade sticks. "The only exception is the throw command, which uses the Right Stick on the DualShock controller,” explains SuperBot. “With an arcade stick, throws are simply performed with an easy button combination, similar to many traditional fighting games."
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due for release on October 23, 2012 with a public beta due to launch shortly.
Will you grab yourself an arcade stick at launch, or will you stick to the traditional method?
