The long-awaited 1.7 update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has finally launched for PlayStation 3.

While PS3 gamers never received Patch 1.6, which adds such gameplay improvements as mounted combat and support for the Dawnguard expansion, the contents of that update have been rolled into this one.

The patch notes, which include various bug fixes and memory optimizations (as usual), are listed below. We've also included the 1.6 patch notes, as these features are new to PS3 players.

Now, if only we could get that elusive Dawnguard expansion on our platform.

After deleting all game data and reinstalling it all, it seems fine now. @6 I've noticed that since the patch if you hit Start AFTER already haven hit Circle, you're stuck within the System tab. If you back out of the menu entirely and hit Start, you'll have access to the other tabs. This is ridiculous of course, but there you have it.
