Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima will be attending PAX Prime this year to discuss the past, present and future of his highly-acclaimed stealth-action franchise, Konami has announced.

Moderated by Geoff Keighley, the discussion will last for approximately one hour and focuses on the history of the series, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The event takes place at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Saturday, September 1 at 1.00 p.m. PST.

Fans can vote for a question to be presented to Kojima-san at the panel via the MGS facebook poll.

PSU.com plans on marking Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary with a series of dedicated features, so be sure to keep an eye on those over the next couple of weeks.

Konami kicked off the birthday festivities by unveiling the long-awaited Trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots earlier this month.
