505 Games and Rebellion announced today that full multiplayer support for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Sniper Elite V2 is coming this fall. The tactical World War II shooter will get sniping challenges in team deathmatch, deathmatch, team distance king, and distance king modes with up to eight players supported.
Ian Howe, president, 505 Games North America commented, “There has been tremendous support for Sniper Elite V2 since we announced our relationship with Rebellion and it’s been exciting to see that carry through to release and beyond. As a thank you for that support, we’re very pleased to offer a full multiplayer feature set, free of charge, to all Sniper Elite V2 console fans.”
“Rebellion is very excited to release this multiplayer support for console. We have always believed in supporting and building our games’ communities as best we can,” said Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion. “This is in part to say ‘thank you’ to dedicated gamers for buying our games and also to say keep an eye out for our next big Sniper Elite announcement.”

@1 learn the difference between bias and fair journalism. this is not exclusive to PS3, and should be reported as such.

@1, I like to bust PSU's balls for some of the stupid things they post, but WOW way to split hairs. It would be more out of place to mention the update for PS3 and just ignore the exsistence of the XBOX completely
