SEGA yesterday unveiled details on a new multiplayer offering for Aliens: Colonial Marines, titled Escape Mode.

This competitive effort sees a group of U.S. Marines facing off against the deadly Xenomorphs in a race against time, with the aliens attempting to slay the human side as the Marines search for an escape zone.

With limited time available, each team will have to make use of their faction’s individual strengths while exploiting the weakness of the other team in order to bring home the bacon.

To further illustrate the workings of this multiplayer mode, SEGA and Gearbox have revealed a new video detailing Escape Mode for your viewing pleasure. Check it out below. Aliens: Colonial Marines is scheduled to ship in February 2013.
