Sony’s announced that development of LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation Vita has now wrapped, with the game on track for release in the U.S. and Europe later this month.
Developed by Tarsier Studios and Double Eleven, this handheld entry in the critically-acclaimed do-it-yourself platform franchise offers four-player online competitive/co-op gameplay, plus takes full advantage of PS Vita’s touchscreen functionality.
Those of you who pre-order the game will receive bonus SackBoy costumes such as a BioShock pack (Big Daddy & Little Sister outfits) and Knights of Old (knight, damsel in distress, black knight and dragon).
LittleBigPlanet Vita is scheduled to ship on September 19 in the U.S. and September 25 in PAL regions.
