In celebration of the launch of Firmware update 1.8 for PlayStation Vita, Sony has decided to host a massive retro-flavoured game sale on PSOne Classics.
For those who don’t know yet (in which case, where have you been?), Firmware 1.8 introduces the ability to play PSOne games on Sony’s new handheld, with a huge range of titles up for grabs including Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil 2.
In addition to PSOne titles, the sale also includes a reduction on Red Dead Redemption DLC and some PlayStation 2 titles.
The sale will be activated upon Wednesday’s weekly PlayStation Store update. See below for a full list of reduced titles.

@1 Haha, hopefully NA gets some similar goodies as well. Unfortunately, our library of "compatible" PSOne games is nowhere near EU's size yet

Huh, none of these games interest me at all except maybe Syphon Filter. Yeah, what a celebration, and it's only confirmed for Europe. I wish Sony NA was as competent as Sony EU, Europe gets so many awesome sales, price drops and promotions while we get awful support by comparison. Heck, they have a "recent price drops" menu selection on their Vita store, that sounds too glorious to come over here. They really need to get their stuff straightened out. It sucks feeling like a lower-class gamer due to my location, it's the one big knock I have against the Playstation brand over here. I'm sure if they treated NA gamers as well as EU ones the Vita could topple the 3DS over here, I just don't see it happening with the way things are now.
Oh, and you guys posted an incomplete list of games on sale, some of the Crash games are on sale as well. You should always point out when a sale is limited to one region, every single week I'm left disappointed when sites like this DON'T point that out and I figure it out minutes later.

No Metal Gear Solid? When I heard about this I was looking forward to being able to get the first game for £2 to finally get me into the series. I'm not paying £7 for something I might not even like...
@4 Actually, in most cases, PlayStation's treatment of NA is much better than that of the EU - well, I don't know about EU in general, but definitelt the UK; we always seem to get the short end of everything!
