Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has dropped some hints as to what we can expect from future Borderlands 2 DLC.
Speaking at the Gearbox Software Community Day Borderlands 2 panel (via Polygon), Pitchford told those in attendance “to think Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.”
Elaborating, he let slip that he has “always wanted to ride a sail barge and drive a sand skiff…we’ve got some cool stuff that’s along those lines.”
That’s about all the executive would say on the matter, though it has certainly given us food for thought.
Borderlands 2 will be supported by a wealth of post-launch content from launch until June 2013. Gearbox previously confirmed that the Mechromancer character DLC will be released on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in mid-October.
Stay tuned to PSU.com for more information, and keep your eyes peeled for our review of Borderlands 2 later this week.
