Warner Bros. has delayed the U.K. launch of the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition.
Originally due out on September 7, the content-heavy bundle is now scheduled to ship on November 9. That puts it out nearly six months after the release of its U.S. counterpart back in late May.
In addition to a copy of the critically-acclaimed superhero sequel, the Game of the Year Edition includes a host of DLC packs, including Harley Quinn’s Revenge. However, it omits the Batman animated flick Year One featured in the North American version.
Writing on the Rocksteady forum, European community boss Sarah Wellock commented: “Apologies for the confusion and the delay, we understand it is disappointing.”
“Each of the territories determined the best time to release Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition and for the UK, November is best.”
Those of you who haven’t picked up Arkham City should probably wait it out just a little bit more and plump for the GotY release. In the meantime, check out our review and see why the game is worth your hard-earned cash.
