Just 24 hours ago, Square Enix dropped a bombshell at Tokyo Game Show 2012. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX was revealed, and Keyblade Wielders the world over rejoiced at the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts and RE: Chain of Memories in glorious high-definition. Thanks to fan attendees of the show, we now have a few more details to share.
Amateur translator Olivia Slayton uncovered descriptions of the show from two attendants, who described what they saw in detail. According to their descriptions, alternating gameplay footage was shown of Kingdom Hearts and RE: Chain of Memories – battles, cutscenes, and more were on display with Japanese voiceovers. At one point during the presentation, the words "PS3 Trophy Support" flashed across the screen.
More clips of the two games were shown, along with HD cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (which will only be present in Theater mode). The trailer wrapped up with the official game logo, before proclaiming that the game is coming in 2013.
Bear in mind, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has not been confirmed for Western release. With that in mind, are you hoping that Square Enix decides to publish it in the States and Europe? How do you feel about the games on offer? Make your voice heard in the comments below.
