Ubisoft has announced that the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 this holiday season.
Due out on November 13, the bundle will set you back $39.99 and includes all three games covering Italian stallion Ezio Auditore’s part in the Assassin’s Creed saga: Assassin’s Creed II (plus all DLC), Brotherhood and Revelations.
Released in 2009, Assassin’s Creed II introduces players to Ezio as he embarks on a quest for revenge in Renaissance Italy. However, he is soon inexorably drawn into the on-going conflict between the Assassin’s order and the Templars.
Brotherhood meanwhile picks up after the events of its predecessor, and sees Ezio relocate to the sprawling city of Rome. Here, players are able to renovate parts of the city and lead a Brotherhood of Assassin’s in Ezio’s battle against the Templar order.
Finally, 2011’s Revelations closes Ezio’s chapter as he follows in the footsteps of the legendary Assassin Altair, which takes him to the streets of Constantinople and an underground Templar stronghold.
The next entry in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed III, is due out on PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 30, 2012.
