PS All-Stars Battle Royale beta opens this week

Sony has today confirmed that there is to be another Beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale following the private one held earlier this year. This will be open to PS+ members from the October 17 and anyone with a PlayStation Vita from tomorrow.

This then opens up to everyone else from October 24. In the Beta, you can play as the following characters: Kratos, Sweet Tooth, PaRappa, Radec, Sly Cooper and Fat Princess. The two stages playable will be Hades and Metropolis. There is both four-player and 2 vs 2 tournaments available in the Beta, which ends on October 30.

In addition, Sony also confirmed that if you pre-order the upcoming brawler you will receive a bonus costume for each of the 20 characters in the game that have been confirmed so far, which can be seen below:



PS All-Stars Battle Royale launches on both PS3 and PS Vita on November 20 in North America and November 23 in the U.K. and Ireland.

     All of those costumes, except maybe Dante's, are super cool. Awesome nods to other games in each character's history.

    Damn it... was really hoping Spike's alternate would be classic PS1 Spike, or maybe even Jake. Oh well, at least Sackboy got a Sackgirl alt.

    I hope they fixed some of the bugs, and balanced it out a bit more. Im not that crazy about betas in the first place. The developers should be doing this, not the consumers.

     beta is only for plus users. :(
