Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, the latest game looking to be PlayStation Vita's killer title for this Christmas, has received a new story-based trailer for your viewing pleasure.

The game follows Aveline de Grandpre, a female assassin with African French heritage, trying to stop the rise of arranged marriages and Slavery in the French and Indian war in 18th Century New Orleans.

Other location's include The Bayou - home to shifty smugglers and vicious alligators - as well as The Gulf of Mexico. Along the way players will also encounter Assassin's Creed III protagonist Conner.

Gamers can expect use a multitude of disguises as well as traverse rivers, with Aveline also possessing the ability to pickpocket, dual wield weapons such as the blowpipe, pistosl, swords, and knives, plus perform chain kill combos.
