Sent in by an anonymous tipster, this picture from the PlayStation Retail Loyalty website adds fuel to the rampant rumors that more than the twenty revealed characters, confirmed by Omar Kendall to be the final roster, will star in Sony's new brawler. With the correct answer filled into the first sentence's blank, it states 'PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale features over 20 first and third party PlayStation characters.'

Paul Gale, who supposedly had the entire roster revealed to him, has stated there were supposed to be four more characters joining the fray. Recent teasers released on PlayStation's Youtube channel also seem to imply there's more about PlayStation All-Stars that we haven't discovered. We should learn more when the full ad is unveiled on October 23rd. Until then, check out the "Arrival" and "Aftermath" teasers. Who do you think is still behind the curtain? Who do you hope makes it into the game? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to PSU for more details.

I'm glad that Sweet Tooth and Sir Dan made it in, a lot of my favorite PS icons are in the roster. But I understand why people are upset about Crash's absence, and I agree. However, the IP is owned by Activision and it isn't necessarily the fault of SuperBot if they weren't able to include some characters. I'd really love to see Spyro and more RPG reps, like Dart.

Wouldn't it be sweet if Snake, Cloud, Crash, and... idk, Lara Croft? were all being saved for one final character reveal?

It'd be super sweet, and Snake and Cloud could sell copies by themselves. If it's at all possible, it's likely we'll find out tomorrow since October 23rd keeps being shown in the teasers. I sure hope so :D

Thank you for linking back to Paul Gale Network, I appreciate it. And we will hopefully find out very soon if Cloud, Wander, Snake, and Crash are in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale or not. I'll be at the LA Beatdown event tomorrow, so if any of you are attending, give me a shout out. :) Have a great one.
