Call of Duty: Black Ops II has stood its ground at the summit of the U.K. All Format Charts for a third week running, fending off competition from Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3.

The open-world action title debuted in second place, followed by FIFA 13 in third and Hitman Absolution in fourth place. Assassin’s Creed III rounds out the Top Five.

Of course, last week was quite a significant period for the U.K. videogame scene, as it saw the launch of Nintendo Wii U. However, due to limited hardware supply, the console’s software failed to dent the Top Ten. Wii U's highest entry title was Nintendo Land at no.11.
