The Tales series has shipped over 15 million units worldwide since its arrival on the scene over 15 years ago, Namco Bandai has revealed.
Tales of Phantasia appeared on the SNES back in 1995 and the franchise has remained one of the most celebrated RPGs in Japan ever since.
The most recent entry, Tales of Xillia 2, was released on November 1 and has sold 480,000 copies to date. Its predecessor is scheduled for a western release exclusively on PlayStation 3 in 2013.
