The rumored location for the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been touted as Brazil.

That’s according to the managing director of Ubisoft’s Brazilian arm, Bertrand Chaverot, who told website Techtudo that the historical action-adventure series will be set in Brazil next time around.

Of course, Ubisoft has yet to formally announce a new Assassin’s Creed game at present, though we expect to hear something in the next few months.

A number of locations have been speculated as the possible setting for a new AC game, with Victoria London, Ancient Egypt and China all doing the rounds at some point.

Stay tuned for more details as we get them. In the meantime, check out our review of Assassin's Creed III here and see if it tickles your fancy.
