With the 2012 gaming calendar all but wrapped, there’s only one thing left to do – celebrate the year’s best titles spanning a variety of genres. However, PSU.com has this year decided to inject a little twist into the proceedings. Instead of deciding on things ourselves, we’ve given you, the PSU community, the keys to the castle so to speak, with the list of nominees and ultimate winners decided entirely by our loyal readers. Whether it’s Sports, RPG or Action/Adventure, you guys have been voting manically for the past seven days or so, deciding the cream of the crop among 2012’s gaming greats. Simply put, this is YOUR Game of the Year Awards.
So, without further ado, let’s crack on with our look at the Most Anticipated Game of 2013, as decided by you lovely chaps and chapettes.
-------
Could we see a brand new PlayStation console in 2013? If so, we will likely see a ton of incredible games, including hit sequels and brand new IPs. But, we still don't have official word on when Sony's next generation console will launch. Lucky for us, there are some great games coming out next year for PlayStation 3, and we've asked our community to pick the Most Anticipated Game of 2013. In our community's perspective, 2013 is all about three games: BioShock Infinite, The Last of Us, and Grand Theft Auto V. It was stiff competition among the three games, and the battle lines seem pretty clear--some people want to see a new BioShock, while others want to get their grubby hands on Rockstar's latest Grand Theft Auto game. Then there are those who want to see Naught Dog's latest project. But, in the end, there could only be one most anticipated game of 2013...
And the winner is...
The Last of Us

From the makers of the hit Uncharted series, The Last of Us has clearly drawn the most interest from the PSU community and secured the top spot of the Most Anticipated Game of 2013. In fact, The Last of Us secured more votes for its category than nearly any other game in other categories. How could you resist? Naughty Dog is known for creating killer, narrative-driven games, and from the trailers of The Last of Us, it looks like we could see the developer push itself even further. We hope to get our hands on The Last of Us early in 2013 to give you more details, but until then we are left holding our breath in anticipation. Congratulations to Naughty Dog and we can't wait to check out The Last of Us.

Most anticipated? Bioshock Infinite easily beats this.

Hmmm for me it's actually either Tomb Raider or GTAV. The Last of Us looks good, but the hype concerning is more to do with Naughty Dog more than anything, same goes for GTA actually. It's Tomb Raider in my opinion where we're seeing a lot of fresh and interesting things, more than just survival.

I wonder when Square Enix will release FF Versus XIII. The game feels like it's been in development for over a decade. Haha.
