Team Ninja has announced via Twitter that Dead or Alive 5's version 1.03 patch will include a major new feature - the ability to record and upload matches online.

The developer is excited to bring match recording and sharing to those without capture equipment. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will allow players to upload match videos onto both YouTube and Facebook, while the Xbox 360 version will only have support for Facebook uploading. No mention has been made yet on whether or not the upcoming PS Vita release, Dead or Alive 5 Plus, will see this feature.

In addition, Patch 1.03 will bring a number of gameplay tweaks to help improve balance and mechanics. Team Ninja has produced the following video below to not only demonstrate match recording and uploading, but show off subtle changes that DOA 5 pros may notice.

Check out our review to see why we found Dead or Alive 5 to be the best entry in the series yet and stay tuned to PSU for more updates on DOA 5.
