U.K. Charts: Far Cry 3 wins Christmas chart battle

Critically acclaimed shooter Far Cry 3 bagged the U.K. Christmas number one spot thanks to a flurry of price cuts, toppling Activision juggernaut Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

FIFA 13 managed to score second place, while Black Ops II had to settle for third. This marks the second year in a row that a Call of Duty title has failed to win the Christmas top spot, after Modern Warfare 3 lost out to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 2011.

I doubt Activision is too worried with almost 19m sales on just PS3 and 360.

Funny to see Forza 4 in the top 20 with Forza Horizon.
