Seth Lochhead, the co-writer of action movie Hanna, has jumped on board the film adaptation of Team ICO’s Shadow of the Colossus.
The movie has been in the pipeline since 2009, and originally featured a script penned by Justin Marks of Street Fighter fame. Since then however, things have gone a bit quiet.
However, CVG reports that not only has Lochhead signed on to the project, but he’ll be joined by Josh Tranks (Chronicle) and Kevin Misher (Public Enemies).
Shadow of the Colossus was released on PlayStation 2 in 2005 and eventually received a high-definition makeover alongside ICO for PlayStation 3 as part of the Team ICO Collection.
The game sees players thrust in the role of a chap named Wander, who along with his trusty steed Agro sets out to dispatch sixteen massive beings known as the Colossi in order to save a woman named Mono.

Tbh...I think ICO would make the better film. Although I love SotC for what it is, it just doesnt seem to have enough to make a good film. Unless of course its going to be massively changed for the film.
