Battlefield 3 Premium has drummed up around 2.9 million subscribers, publisher Electronic Arts has announced.
The figure marks an increase of roughly 900,000 members since October, when EA confirmed the service had accumulated two million users during its Q2 FY13 results.
Battlefield 3 Premium raked in over $108 million in sales during EA’s third quarter.
Launched in May 2012, the service offers five downloadable content packs to members, in addition to a host of other goodies. The service is a one-time fee that will set you back $49.99.
Battlefield 3’s final chunk of DLC, titled End Game, is scheduled for release in March 2013. Battlefield 4 is currently in development with a beta due to kick off in fall of this year.
