Powerful live-action trailer for God of War: Ascension shows a human side of Kratos

God of War: Ascension is dialing time back on Kratos, our favorite Spartan anti-hero. By exploring his origins in the wake of his wife's and daughter's deaths, Sony Santa Monica hopes to show gamers a human side of Kratos that offers context for his burning hatred and cynicism.

To highlight the maturation of Kratos as a character, the Ascension team (in collaboration with Imaginary Forces) has released a compelling live-action trailer starring Kratos and his family. We see Kratos joyfullly hold and kiss his daugher before her very form crumbles and dissolves into ash, leaving a broken Spartan warrior behind to roam the world loveless.

EPIC! I'm usually not very fond of live action trailers but this was awsome :)

I got to admit, that was a pretty decent trailer, not bad.
