Report: New Hitman film casts Paul Walker

Fox’s planned Hitman 2 film will star Paul Walker as protagonist Agent 47, reports Deadline.
Walker, best known for his role as Brian O’ Connor in the Fast and the Furious films alongside Vin Diesel, will take over from the original film’s Timothy Olyphant as the bald assassin.
Hitman 2 is billed as a reboot of the franchise, and is scripted by Skip Woods and Mike Finch. The first film was released back in 2007.
The latest entry in the Hitman videogame series, Absolution, hit PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in November 2012. Check out our review here.

WTF?????? NOOOOOOOOOO Fu,,,ng way!!!! What are they thinking of? No way does Paul Walker fit the role, they should get back Timothy Olyphant to do the sequal, he made a perfect agent 47.

Why has no-one thought of Jason Statham for the role. He already looks pretty damn close to the part and just needs to hide the c@#kney accent. Most of that is exaggerated anyway.

jason statham would be bad for agent 47 and paul walker just does fast and furious films, c'mon this is dumb

Wow. They've basically just told everybody whose a fan of the franchise to not go watch this movie. On a serious note: Mark Strong would have been a great casting as 47. Heck Timothy Olyphant did a pretty good job with an average script
And honestly what is all this nonsense about Statham being 47? His voice alone would destroy that role

I think Walker is a good actor, but doesn't fit the profile of Agent 47 in any way, shape, or form. Fox really knows how to kill a film when recruiting actors. Apparently, Fox isn't too familiar with the Hitman series.
