2K has confirmed that its planned tactical shoot-‘em-up XCOM is still in the works, following a long period of silence on the game.
The publisher announced that the squaddie shooter will be released during the company’s 2014 Fiscal Year, which runs April 1, 2013 – March 31, 2014.
XCOM is currently in development at 2K Marin, the same studio responsible for the critically-acclaimed BioShock 2.
According to 2K, Marin “continues to make progress” on the title, which was first announced back in 2010. The game was originally pencilled in for release on PC and Xbox 360 only, before PlayStation 3 was added into the equation back in 2011.

Sounds good. I'm a big fan of Xcom for the strategy reasons!
