Publishing giant Electronic Arts has been flexing its Battlefield 4-sized muscles off behind closed doors recently.
A Tweet by GameStop big cheese Paul Raines confirmed that the hotly-anticipated military shooter has been shown off to a select lucky few.
“Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is wow. Thanks EA for the sneak peak. Can’t wait for you all to see it,” he said. Interestingly, the Tweet has yet to be deleted and EA soon retweeted it on its Origin account.
Nothing is known on Battlefield 4 at present, and likewise it is unknown if it will be released for current and/or next-generation platforms.
The game’s release also remains a mystery; EA said in its investor call last month that the new Battlefield would be coming ‘next year,’ which may pertain to fiscal year 2014. If this is the case, it could conceivably hit this year, as EA’s financial year runs March onwards.

I wonder if its on this gen or next gen systems. If its this gen, I don't think they would be so secretive about it, or making a big deal.
