Loyal PlayStation customers given $10 PSN cards ahead of PS4 reveal

Sony is giving away $10 PlayStation Network vouchers to loyal customers in the U.S. today ahead of the PlayStation Meeting and possible PS4 reveal.

PSU has been contacted via Twitter by customers in the U.S. who have received an email from Sony offering them a $10 PlayStation Network voucher.

“Thank you for being a loyal customer and fan of the PlayStation Network. As a token of our appreciation, we've sent you $10,00 to spend on the PlayStation Store!” reads the email.

This could of course be a lovely gesture by Sony to reward its loyal customers and get them even more excited for the big reveal, but the last time we remember Sony giving anything away it was for an apology for the PS3 outage. Could this be a sweetener to take the edge of plans to introduce charges for its PS4 online services? We’ll have to wait and see.

At the moment we have no idea what makes you a loyal customer, but do let us know if you get a voucher.

Remember, you can watch the live stream of the PlayStation Meeting on PSU later today.
