Eight PlayStation 4 logos designed by the public have made the shortlist to the final out of 4,800 entrants in a competition hosted by 99Designs.co.uk.
To hype the PlayStation Meeting and the PlayStation 4 reveal, 99Designs called for the public to conjure up their best designs for a future PS4 logo.
There's been some great entries which have been whitted down to the final eight, including the one below.
The PS4 is expected to be revealed at the PlayStation Meeting held in New York City later today. Stay with PSU for all the PS4 news and to watch the live stream of the conference.

This is all going to be quite hilarious if the announcement is for their new network and not for any new hardware.

I'm pretty sure Sony would have made an announcement by now if they weren't unveiling a new Playstation. Otherwise there'd be some pretty p**ssed off fans freaking out tonight.

It's a good thing we (the PS fan base) have nothing to do with making the logo. Because that my friends, is one ugly logo. I like the one I seen on YouTube "Playstation Orbis" with a semi half circle between them. (like Earth from a satellite image)

Would have been better with pink instead of yellow, to be fully representative of the colours of PlayStation's iconic buttons.
