PS4 play sessions can be preserved in RAM

PlayStation 4 will allow you to save a current gaming session while the system is in sleep mode.

The feature was detailed by Lead System Architect Mark Cerny moments ago. By pressing the system's power button (and, presumably, a button on the DualShock 4), you can put the system to sleep while your game is saved in the background - much like with PS Vita.
