A marketing poster obtained by Kotaku apparently leaks the name and setting of the next Assassin's Creed game - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
The poster depicts a white-hooded man--presumably, the game's protagonist--engaged in battle with a host of pirates aboard a seafaring vessel. A black flag with skull-and-crossbones can be seen flying in the background. The game's supposed logo adorns the poster's bottom edge.
Kotaku's source claims that the poster will start appearing in shops nationwide on Monday, March 4.
We previously reported that another Assassin's Creed title will launch sometime before the end of fiscal year 2014, which concludes on March 31, 2014. This leaked poster is our first indication of what that game, which will feature a setting new to the series, may entail.
What do you think of the supposed name and artwork for Ubisoft's next blockbuster history tour? Voice your opinion in the comments below, and watch PSU.com in the coming weeks for more on Assassin's Creed IV.
