Ubisoft: 'The Vita is not dead for us.'

Many are worried that the PlayStation Vita may be seeing its end draw near, especially with only a small slate of games scheduled for release this year. One of the world's largest developers, Ubisoft, isn't giving up on the system just yet, however.

In an interview with InsideGamer, Ubisoft Chairman and CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed Ubisoft was still working on new games for Sony's portable. "We are still a number of Vita games busy. I can not announce anything, but it's coming. The Vita is not dead for us," explained Guillemot.

Perhaps this year's Sony E3 conference will show off some of the games Ubisoft is working on. Is the studio working on a portable spin-off game for Assassin's Creed IV, as they did with Assassin's Creed III? Maybe a PS Vita port of Rayman Legends?

Tell us what you would like to see Ubisoft make for the Vita in the comments.

Yo PSU ... Why do you not have the new Killzone Mercanary gameplay footage up?  I know it is all PS4 right now, but this game looks really amazing and could possibly reinvigorate a dying system!!!

Im still waiting for Vita price drop. Can't frow £220 on a console alone (not to mention ridiculous memory card price) when the only game I wait is Killzone. My money is going to PS4 on day one

I still think Sony can actually help the vita by dropping the memory card prices permanantly. The prices are realy starting to limit my options after mroe than a year as to what I put on my Vita. I'd buy more content for it but I dont have much room left on my card to fit it and buying a second card just seems like a waste if I can't buy a larger one which is prohibitive because of the excessive pricing.
