Arkane Studios, developer behind last year's critically acclaimed Dishonored, has expressed gratitude and great interest in PlayStation 4's substantial memory cache and extensive social features.
Speaking to Eurogamer after last week's BAFTA Game Awards, lead level designer Christophe Carrier shared his enthusiasm: "We need memory, you know? . . . As a level designer we are struggling against memory every day. We cut things, we remove things . . . because there's not enough memory." Thankfully, PS4 looks to remedy the situation. "So knowing that memory is something that is going to be improved in the next generation of consoles: to us, it's a joy. It's something that we were waiting for."
Dinga Bakaba, Dishonored game designer and associate producer, shared similar excitement for PS4's social features and Gaikai streaming suite: "We are looking forward at how we can integrate all those things into our [next] game."
Unfortunately, Arkane isn't ready to speak on what game that might be, but it stands to reason that more Dishonored is in our future.

It pays to have plenty of super fast memory to feed the hardware, and to give developers what they need to do their work. Your right Bigdoggy, hats off to Mark Cerny for doing it right this time around. =)
