Sniper Elite 3 is heading to current- and next-generation consoles in 2014, 505 Games has announced. There are not a ton of details to go on at this time but IGN reports that 505 Games has decided to put out a sequel to Sniper Elite V2--released in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC--because of its global success with the series.
Sniper Elite V2 has sold about 1.1 million copies from its spring 2012 launch through the end of December. We gave Sniper Elite V2 an 8 out of 10 in our review, calling it a "suspense-filled ride" and a "satisfying tactical shooter."
More details on Sniper Elite 3 will likely trickle through in the coming weeks, but for now you can chalk this title up as yet another game hitting both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
Stay tuned as more details roll in and keep it locked to PSU for all your PS4 news.
